I obtained some seeds from Frederick County Maryland and from the C&O canal area in Maryland. I tried planting some here to add new DNA. Time will tell.

This is our pawpaw patch. I only just found it last fall and there were no fruits or any sign that there had been any. I will be keeping an eye on this. I wanted to hand-pollinate but was stuck in Maryland for the COVID stay-at-home order. I do not know if this patch was from multiple seeds or all from one. I planted some seeds near there in hopes of adding new DNA in time but I don't know if they "took." The second photo was taken on June 14 so the leaves were bigger than in the first photo.
